Located at an altitude of 1140 meters, the farm Messnerhof is managed by our family since several generations. The inviting and familiar ambience welcomes all guests – young and old. Due to its proximity to the Dolomites and the ski regions Plan de Corones and Alta Badia / Sella Ronda, here you may enjoy a range of leisure facilities. Our pension is just 9 km from Brunico and 6 km from S. Lorenzo and lies therefore in the heart of one of the most beautiful regions in South Tyrol.

The Messnerwirt in Onies – an experience for the entire family

Our family-run farm offers the perfect vacation programme for young and old. In the quaintly furnished old lounge from 1897 – the Zirmstube – you may enjoy traditional fare and Italian cuisine, prepared by the host. You will be enchanted by the sounds of South Tyrolean music – so just sit back and relax in an inviting ambience. In the summer, you may enjoy breakfast on the sun terrace, which is also ideal for sunbathing and hours of reading in a quiet location. In the background, you will hear only the sound of crickets. Outside, there is a playground for our younger guests – they are also welcome to visit the farm animals in the stable.

The farm Messnerwirt is always worth a trip. In the winter, the ski area Plan de Corones awaits you with 116 km well-prepared ski slopes; furthermore, you may visit the ski resort Alta Badia and the Sella Ronda, as well as various toboggan runs in the beautiful, snow-covered landscape. In the summer, you can take a hike across lush meadows and flourishing landscapes. Explore the area on foot, by bicycle or by mountain bike, with your car or by public transportation (free).
